Privacy

What we store

Only what the service cannot work without:

• Account: your email address, your name if you gave one, your language and time zone. The password is stored as a hash — not even we can read it back.
• Signing in with Google or Apple: the identifier the provider sends and the email address. With Hide My Email we only ever see Apple's relay address.
• Subscriptions: the teams and players you follow and which kinds of updates you want.
• Notification devices: a browser push subscription or an Apple device token. Neither identifies you anywhere outside this app.
• Sessions: a hash of the refresh token, the browser, the IP address and when it was last used — so you can see active sign-ins and end the ones you do not recognise.
• Page views: the page, an anonymous visitor id, where you came from, the device type and the language.

What we do not do

We do not sell data and do not hand it to advertising networks. There are no third-party trackers and no advertising identifiers in the app. We do not follow you across other sites and do not join your activity to profiles elsewhere.

Who else sees it

Only as far as delivering what you asked for requires:

• Apple and Google — when you sign in with them, and when a notification is delivered to your device.
• The email provider — the recipient address, when we send you a message.
• Telegram — only if you connected that channel yourself.
• Data sources (ESPN, the league's own statistics) receive requests from our server. Nothing of yours is sent to them.
• The news translator receives the text of the article. Nothing about you is in that request.

How long it is kept

A session expires 90 days after it was last used and is deleted automatically. Page views are kept without identifying you. Everything else lives as long as the account does.

Deleting your account

In your profile, under Delete account: one button and a confirmation. Subscriptions, settings, notification devices and sessions go with it. This is deletion, not hiding or freezing — the rows are removed and cannot be restored.

Notifications

Alerts only ever cover the teams, players and kinds of events you chose. Any of them can be switched off in settings or straight from the notification. Permission is asked separately, and refusing it breaks nothing.

Children

The service is not meant for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
